Andra Brichacek Roe has worked as a writer, editor, and communication and marketing strategist in the education field since 2008, beginning with a seven-year stint as an editor and writer with the International Society for Technology in Education. She joined the communication team for the UO School of Journalism and Communication in 2015 and has served as the school's communication director since 2019.
Prior to working in the education field, Andra was an award-winning magazine writer and editor for trade publications. She also worked for many years as a freelance writer, with published bylines in such magazines as Oregon Coast, Eugene Magazine, Western Horseman, Performance Horse, Horse, Pharmaceutical Executive, and Pharmaceutique.
