Peg is a wildlife ecologist with a broad, applied background in research, conservation, management, planning, policy, and communications. Her current interests include experiential education, environmental monitoring, and wildlife conservation. As Co-Director of the Environmental Leadership Program, she creates and directs community-based undergraduate projects relating to conservation science and environmental communication. An award-winning instructor, she teaches ENVS 427 Environmental and Ecological Monitoring, ENVS 429 Environmental Leadership Program and UGST 112 Ecological Leaders Academic Residential Community Seminar. She also has taught interdisciplinary special topics courses on avian conservation, wolf ecology and policy, ecological restoration, and the McKenzie River watershed.
