Connie Chandler is an instructor of public relations in the School of Journalism and Communication and the faculty adviser to the UO chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She is an experienced communication professional with a successful track record of leading proactive public relations and investor relations programs for young start-up companies as well as large, established organizations.

Chandler’s research interests include strategic communication and the relationship management function of public relations. She presented her research exploring the relevance of relationship management theory to investor relations at the NCA 99th Annual Convention in Washington, D.C., in November 2013, and the International Journal of Strategic Communication published her research in the article “Investor Relations from the Perspective of CEOs” in July 2014.
