Biography

Courtney (she/they) is originally from Miami, Florida, but lived in Amsterdam, Netherlands before moving to Eugene. She advanced to candidacy in winter 2022 and has begun data collection for her dissertation "Voting behind bars: Policy and predictions of total enfranchisement for incarcerated voters in the United States."

Courtney is presently a GE for J314 Intro to Media Studies and is working as an editorial assistant to Dr. Regina Lawrence for the journal Political Communication.
