Drummond Kahn has more than 27 years of auditing experience and in training auditors and financial managers. He developed the University of Oregon's Advanced Assurance Services course when the MAcc program was first created in 2000. As a full-time audit practitioner, he served as director of audit services for the city of Portland and served in audit positions in Oregon state government, including chief of audit services for the Oregon Department of Transportation and interim director and state audit administrator for the Oregon Audits Division. He served for more than five years in the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the investigative arm of the U.S. Congress. He also served as a visiting international faculty member at the Reims Management School in France, a UO partner university. Drummond served on and chaired the Comptroller General's Advisory Council on Government Auditing Standards. He is a certified internal auditor and certified government financial manager.
