Jason Babkes believes sport has the power to change the world. He has an unquenchable interest in the underlying systems that sport affects and which in turn impact sport: athletes, consumers, performance, business, and society.

Babkes currently serves as the general manager for Nike's NFL, MLB, and college divisions. He previously held roles in other areas within the company, including Nike Running's global strategy and wholesale and retail marketplace development. Prior to his time at Nike, Babkes spent eight years at Anheuser-Busch in wide variety of ascending functional roles. Babkes is also the cofounder of Hammer & Stitch Brewing Company.

He received his BS in philosophy and business from the University of Oregon, and his MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
