Kristie Gibson is an assistant clinical professor in the Business Law Program. Ms. Gibson previously served as a supervising attorney in the Business Law Clinic. Before she joined the Business Law Program, she was the administrative director of the LL.M. program at Oregon Law and a pro tem instructor.
Prior to joining Oregon Law, Ms. Gibson was a business attorney with the firm of Gartland, Nelson, McCleery & Wade, P.C. (GNMW) in Eugene, and she served as in-house counsel for Gibson Holders, Inc. for nine years, prior to joining GNMW.
Ms. Gibson is a graduate of the University of Oregon (B.A. political science), the University of Oregon School of Law (J.D.), Willamette University College of Law (LL.M. Transnational Law), and she studied Chinese Law and Legal Systems at East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. She is a past-president of both the Lane County Bar Association and the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation. She serves on the House of Delegates of the Oregon State Bar (OSB) and on the OSB Corporate Counsel Section Advisory Committee.
