Biography

Katarzyna (Kasia) Steinka-Fry is a Senior Research Assistant II with the HEDCO Institute. Katarzyna has over 15 years of experience in the evaluation research in social and health science. She specializes in data management, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis. Previously, she worked at Vanderbilt University and as an independent research consultant. Her prior work focused on interventions for juvenile offenders, adolescent substance use, teen pregnancy prevention, maternal and infant health, school safety, and academic achievement. 

In her current role in the HEDCO Institute, Katarzyna participates in rapid evidence reviews and research syntheses of evidence related to K-12 schooling, including topics of students’ educational, social, behavioral, and emotional well-being.
