Biography

Dr. Bromley has spent her career as a student and researcher at the University of Oregon. Prior to receiving her doctorate in Special Education, she worked as a learning and access specialist for college students with disabilities. She has also worked as a postdoctoral scholar conducting research focused on improving education and employment outcomes for young women with disabilities. As a Research Associate in the Center on Human Development, she is currently working on federally funded research projects that seek to improve the transition outcomes of adolescents with disabilities through applied interventions and systems-level change.

Research

Dr. Bromley’s research focuses on understanding and leveraging the influence of social capital on education, employment, and health outcomes for adolescents and young adults with disabilities. She is also interested in supporting the development and implementation of community-based work experiences for youth during high school.
