Dick Eaton is the founder and chief energizing officer of Leapfrog Innovations. He is a team and leadership development consultant, executive leadership coach, entrepreneur, and angel investor.
His executive coaching is dedicated to building leadership capacity, accessing untapped potential, and building new capacities that help clients make powerful change happen. Through coaching, clients leverage their inherent strengths, innovate, shift limiting beliefs, blind spots, and behaviors, and develop results-focused action plans that activate their own growth and development and that of their organization.
In addition to his coaching with Leapfrog and Oregon Executive MBA clients, Eaton serves as an executive, leadership, and team coach for MIT Sloan Executive Education and FMG Leading.
Eaton is certified in the Wisdom Leading™ executive coaching process, Leadership Insights 360, ESCI360, LVI, Hogan and the FMG Team Insights assessment. With individual and team clients he regularly uses the Enneagram, FIRO-B, and DISC personality typing instruments.
In addition to his 27 years leading Leapfrog Innovations, Eaton's career experience includes sales management with Procter & Gamble and account management with Mintz + Hoke and Cabot Advertising. He also served on the founding team of Staples, The Office Superstore as director of marketing.
Outside work, Eaton plays just about any sport involving a ball or a disc, practices yoga and Reiki, and is an avid painter, showing in solo and group shows. Much of his community service work is focused through Rotary International. His pro bono executive coaching clients include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, Wayfinding Academy, Social Venture Partners, The Street Trust, and Self Enhancement, Inc.
