Shistata is a Ph.D. student at the University of Oregon researching and working with Prof. Suyash Gupta on Explainable AI (XAI) for Computer networks. Her work aims to bridge the gap between complex AI models and human understanding, ensuring that AI-driven network systems are interpretable and trustworthy. Many AI models today operate like 'black boxes,' making decisions without clear explanations. She aims to develop methodologies that help network administrators and stakeholders understand, trust, and optimize AI-driven systems.
Before starting her graduate school, she worked as a software developer. This hands-on experience taught her a lot about building real-world systems, which helps her think about practical solutions in my research.
