She taught English to high school students in Japan for 6 years and taught Japanese to UO students as a GTF for 2 years. Based on her teaching experience in both countries, she has been exploring how students can best learn each target language effectively, taking into consideration environment, personalities, motivations and learning styles. She likes to help students gain communicative competence, open-mindedness toward new ideas and experiences, and relationship-building skills through the learning of their target language.
