Ann Bettman is a registered LA, and an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Landscape Architecture since 1979, she is the former Director of the Urban Farm, an on-campus one and one half acre model of sustainable agriculture, and is also in charge of the Plants classes in the Landscape Architecture department.
Her professional work includes: restoration planting design consultant with Danadjieva & Koenig Associates on the West Point Wastewater Treatment Center Project, Seattle, WA; International Workshop 'Stadt-Wuste-Land' participant, ten day workshop examining the re-development of an intensive coal-mining region toward a more sustainable future in Senftenberg, Germany; EPA/Pacific RC&D grant ($30,000) for a biological wastewater treatment facility feasibility study and habitat enhancement plant for the City of Veneta and the Oregon Country Fair; Planting Design Master Plan for Linfield College, McMinnville, OR.
