Amanda Wojick is a Professor and co-chair of the sculpture area at the University of Oregon, where she has been teaching since 2001. She has also served as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Art, affliated faculty in the Robert D. Clark Honors College, as well as the Resident Director for the University of Oregon study abroad program in Siena, Italy. Prior to teaching at University of Oregon, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Colgate University. She is currently the Department Head and Ann Swindells Chair of the Department of Art (2019-present).

Wojick is a studio-based artist, working at intersections of sculpture, collage, and painting.  Her work exists within the lineage of abstract sculpture produced by women, especially as it is oriented towards process and materials. She is interested in the friction between public and private space, as well as the politics and potentials of materiality. Her recent projects engage landscape, history, commemoration, and the cultural space of the home.

Wojick is the recipient of fellowships and awards from Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, Mass MoCA, the Ucross Foundation, the Oregon Arts Commission and Ford Family Foundation, among others. Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Portland Art Museum, the Tacoma Art Museum, and many private and public collections. She exhibits her work widely in venues in Portland, Chicago, New York, and Stockholm, and is represented by the Elizabeth Leach Gallery.
